WALA Administrator of the Year Award: This is an individual member of WALA who has displayed leadership in caring for students, leading staff, parents, community members, and other in support of alternative education at the elementary level.

Friend of Alternative Education Award: This is an individual who has displayed leadership in promoting alternative education through his/her actions. Individuals nominated are NOT required to be WALA members.
